About Me

Mike's pictureDr. Marasco lives in Northwest Indiana along the southern shore of Lake Michigan. He is a graduate of the University of Denver and the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine.  His training and experience involves the medical, surgical and orthopedic treatment of the foot and ankle, podiatric sports medicine and diabetic foot care and wound management. His travels in Italy over the last 16 years have reconnected him to his Italian family in Milan and the Veneto who he continues to visit and travel with to see and savor Italy. His Italian medical colleagues and friends continue to keep him engaged and interested in European models of healthcare which he frequently reviews and studies.

Dr. Marasco has been an active participant in mentoring programs for US and Italian medical students. He frequently travels to Italy with his wife’s company The Cositutti Group, a taste and travel resource for Northern Italy, Tuscany and Umbria.
